Chalet Les Griottes

boasts an unrivalled piste-side ski-in/ski-out location with outdoor hot-tub and first class service.

Chalet Les Griottes

Chalet Les Griottes is the ultimate in on-piste convenience. It is one of a handful of exclusive properties located right on the Doron home slope. Each morning a very short ski gets you to La Chaudanne, the main lift area.
At the end of the day, you can ski right back to your terrace, click your skis off, and then sit back, relax with a glass of chilled Champagne, whilst taking in the stunning views up the Meribel Valley towards Mont Valon.
Along with its fantastic location, Chalet Les Griottes is a spacious, homely, luxurious chalet with all your comforts catered for. There is a discrete outdoor sunken hot-tub, where you can revive aching muscles as you watch the sun setting behind the Roc de Fer mountain ridge.

Each of the 5 twin or double bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom with his and hers basins, full-size bath and stand-up shower. Two of the rooms share a balcony with mesmerising views. Moreover, two of the rooms offer a third bed, and there’s a sofa-bed in the TV room, so in total the chalet sleeps 10 to 12 guests.

The modern and airy open plan living room has a roaring log-fire as its centrepiece, with plenty of comfortable sofa seating.
The dining area has a large oval table and looks out onto the terrace and its views towards Mont Valon.
The chalet has been fitted out by a celebrated Parisian designer and combines French chic with a relaxing ambience.
Downstairs the TV room is fitted with Apple TV and there is also a wide choice of board-games.
There is a large boot-room with boot warmer and plenty of hanging space to dry your ski kit.
Access to the chalet is gained via a driveway and 2 short sets of steps so is not so easy to access with a push-chair.

Dinner is three mouth-watering courses to satisfy you after a good day’s skiing accompanied by our boutique fine wines, selected by our wine supplier Paul Boyer.
You can then enjoy our cheese-board made up of a variety of delicious local and regional cheeses. We’ll round off the evening serving coffee and petits fours around the fire.

After a hard day on the slopes, you’ll be looking forward to soaking in the bath, with your individual luxury toiletries that will cleanse and soothe you.

Chalet Les Griottes Location

Les Griottes benefits from a fantastic location in the Renarde district of Meribel. It’s just above the town centre. From the lower ground floor of the chalet, come out of ski room, up 10 steps across the chalet driveway and onto the piste.
From here, it’s a 300m ski to La Chaudanne. This is the main blue run back into Meribel, so not suitable for total beginners on their first or second day.
At the end of your day, you ski back to Les Griottes on the ‘Doron’ piste. Ski down on the driveway, back to the door. It really is that simple.
It’s a 10-minute walk from the chalet into the centre of resort, where you have numerous shops, bars and restaurants plus the twice-weekly market, that all go to make Meribel such a vibrant place to visit.
