Ski School

There are several ski schools operating in Méribel, where you can learn skiing, snowboarding, telemarking, mogul skiing, mono-skiing and cross-country, from beginner to competition level.

We recommend Parallel Lines, a British Ski & Snowboard School based in Meribel.  All of the Parallel Lines Team are British Instructors holding the highest British and European qualifications.  Whether you're a beginner or advanced, skier or snowboarder, adult or child, they can help to take your enjoyment of the mountains to the next level.  We have been very impressed with them over the years – our kids go there, and many of our guests return to Parallel Lines each year.  They offer a small, friendly and flexible service, in group lessons or private lessons.  They do get booked up, so it’s worth booking early to avoid disappointment.  We can book them for you, and discuss your requirements to make sure we get you the right level of classes.  Alternatively you can book direct with them, through their website.

We also recommend Marmalade Ski School, who run "youth" group lessons for teenagers that have moved beyond traditional ski school. They also do adult group lessons for all standards, and bespoke private lessons from beginners to those looking for the best off-piste in the 3 Valleys.

We also recommend Magic Academy and New Generation.  You can also get lessons with Snow D’Light, and the French ski school, ESF.

The ski schools also offer ski guides, who can take you round the mountain, and show you the best slopes for your ability, and the best restaurants for your gluttony!
